The Galapagos Islands

This year we've decided to explore the unique flora and fauna of Ecuador's Galapagos Islands. The trip will take place from March 12-20th (2011) to correspond with our spring break. Cost for the trip is $1965 which includes meals, two level 3 Naturalist Guides, rooms, snorkeling, an afternoon of scuba diving, and day hikes (airfare is not included).

Who's invited to join us for this trip?
Both students and non-students are encouraged to come along. Whether your motivation is escaping the chilly winter to enjoy some snorkeling in 75 degree water or to see plant and animal life truly unique to this region of the earth, you'll likely find what you're looking for. This trip is both adventurous and casual, so nearly any fitness or age level is appropriate.

How do I get to Ecuador? To minimize the overall price for this trip and to allow you the option of adding extra days to your trip, we've decided not to include flights with the package price for this trip. To get to the Galapagos Islands you'll fly to Guayaquil, Ecuador (be there on March 19th; rooms will be provided that night). To get to the Galapagos Islands you'll need to get a plane ticket from Guayaquil to San Cristobal
